
The Faculty of Agriculture at Wiraraja University Holds the First Harvest of Melons in the Greenhouse.
The Faculty of Agriculture at Wiraraja University (Unija) successfully held its first harvest of melon fruit at the Faculty of Agriculture's Green House. This melon cultivation program up to the harvest stage is the first step initiated by the Faculty of Agriculture.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Isdiantoni, S.P., M.P., explained that this activity is one form of implementing the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. This program not only focuses on cultivation aspects but also includes marketing agricultural products. "Through this program, we hope to enhance the soft skills and hard skills of students in the field of agriculture, from the cultivation process to marketing strategies," said Isdiantoni.
This inaugural harvest was attended by various parties, including the Rector of Unija, Dr. Sjaifurrachman, S.H., C.N., M.H., Vice Rector I Dr. Mujib Hannan, S.KM., S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Vice Rector III Nurdody Zakki, S.E., M.SM., the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, several lecturers, and students from the Faculty of Agriculture.
This event marks an important moment for the Faculty of Agriculture to continue developing innovations in agribusiness and modern agriculture, while also supporting the vision of Wiraraja University as an institution that produces high-quality and competitive graduates.
