
Sumenep – The Kosabangsa 2024 Team from Universitas Wiraraja (UNIJA) conducted a Workshop on Production, Marketing, and Finance Management at the Lobuk Village Hall, Bluto District, Sumenep. The event was attended by village officials, the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), and the managers of Lobuk Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), who are partners in the Kosabangsa UNIJA program. As part of this program, the Kosabangsa Team also donated various production tools and supporting facilities for local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The donated items include:
- Five choppers
- Five electric fish scalers
- One computer unit and monitor
- Five deep fryers
- Five stoves
- Five spinners
- 1,000 packaging tools
This assistance is expected to improve the quality and production capacity of SMEs in Lobuk, especially in producing signature products such as crispy fish.
The head of the Kosabangsa UNIJA Team, Isdiantoni, stated that this activity is part of the university�s social responsibility to support the economic welfare of the Lobuk community.
�We are committed to assisting Lobuk Village until its SME products are of high quality and have a broad market reach,� said Isdiantoni.
He also encouraged the Lobuk Pokdarwis to utilize technology such as LED Multicolor and Low-Cost GNSS in fishing activities to increase catch efficiency and results.
UNIJA plans to continue supporting BUMDes Lobuk, not only through the provision of production tools but also through ongoing training. This step is being taken to ensure that Lobuk�s SME products can compete in both local and national markets.
�This activity is one of UNIJA�s concrete efforts to help resolve economic issues in Lobuk Village. We hope that the Kosabangsa program will have a significant impact on the community,� concluded Isdiantoni.
